Lighthouse Insurance Group Continues Growth, Opens Kentwood Regional Office

Just two years after Lighthouse Group opened offices in Grandville and the City of Grand Rapids, the Holland-headquartered insurance company continues its expansion in West Michigan and along the Lake Michigan shoreline with the opening of its 12th office at 4808 Broadmoor Ave. in Kentwood. Founded in 1995, the company’s growth in operations, employees, service offerings, customers, and revenue, today, positions it as one of the area’s largest full-service, independent agencies.

Located just south of 44th Street, the new 15,000 sq.ft. facility houses staff and operations of Lighthouse Group’s Personal Lines, Commercial and Group Benefits, along with Lighthouse Title and *Financial Services.

Lighthouse Group President Tom Helmstetter says, "The new sales and administration center in Kentwood supports our growing customer base in Grand Rapids, Kentwood, Ada, Cascade, and Caledonia."

Lighthouse Title’s real estate research and closing services for homeowners and commercial customers has also experienced strong growth in the past two years. "This office is conveniently located to provide closing services for new homeowners and developers of commercial property along the southeast corridor," says Bob Wuerfel, president of Lighthouse Title.

Lighthouse Group, which has merged or acquired long-established companies including the Keuning Agency, Bylsma-Nederveld, Waalkes, and Cascade Insurance, represents a number of the country’s strongest insurance carriers of personal, group benefits and commercial insurance products, which gives Lighthouse Group customers important choices in products and pricing.

The new facility was designed and built by Grand Rapids, MI based Wolverine Building Co.
